At suzle. we work closely with your favourite bands and artists to give the fans a memorable, personal experience and offer them an opportunity to own their own unique piece of music history.
We are a family run, small business, based in South Derbyshire that specialises in up-cycling stage-used backdrops into wearable accessories such as bumbags, backpacks and tote bags. We then use our own e-commerce platform to distribute them back to the fans which also allows us to pay a percentage of the RRP back to the artist to help recuperate the production costs of the backdrop. We collaborate with our clients to construct a social media campaign to bring traffic to our online web store.​
It all started back in 2024, when we discovered that many bands were hanging on to their old stage backdrops. They’d cost a fortune to make, so instead of tossing them after a tour, they were left to gather dust. Some had even been created just for one special show!
That’s when the idea hit us: what if those backdrops could live a second life? Imagine carrying a piece of the stage you once screamed, sang, cried, and laughed in front of — not just tucked away, but turned into something useful. A backpack that comes with you to gigs. A tote bag for your everyday errands. A bum bag for festivals. Or even just a unique piece to collect and display on your wall.
We are Lewis and Suzi — both touring crew members who love dreaming up new ideas when we’re not on the road. After months of figuring out the logistics, Suzi dusted off the sewing machine she’s had since her teenage years and started stitching. Slowly but surely, the idea became real.
And that’s how suzle. was born — the world’s first and only upcycled merchandise brand that works directly with your favourite bands and artists to flip their stage-used backdrops into wearable memorabilia and commemorative accessories.
What began as a side project has grown into a true family business, where every piece is handmade, finished, and packed with care before making its way to you.
